Advice for woman seeking $500k+ earning man

What am I doing wrong?

Okay, I’m tired of beating around the bush. I’m a beautiful (spectacularly beautiful) 25 year old girl. I’m articulate and classy. I’m not from New York. I’m looking to get married to a guy who makes at least half a million a year. I know how that sounds, but keep in mind that a million a year is middle class in New York City, so I don’t think I’m overreaching at all.

Are there any guys who make 500K or more on this board? Any wives? Could you send me some tips? I dated a business man who makes average around 200 - 250. But that’s where I seem to hit a roadblock. 250,000 won’t get me to central park west. I know a woman in my yoga class who was married to an investment banker and lives in Tribeca, and she’s not as pretty as I am, nor is she a great genius. So what is she doing right? How do I get to her level?

Here are my questions specifically:

- Where do you single rich men hang out? Give me specifics- bars, restaurants, gyms

-What are you looking for in a mate? Be honest guys, you won’t hurt my feelings

-Is there an age range I should be targeting (I’m 25)?

- Why are some of the women living lavish lifestyles on the upper east side so plain? I’ve seen really ‘plain jane’ boring types who have nothing to offer married to incredibly wealthy guys. I’ve seen drop dead gorgeous girls in singles bars in the east village. What’s the story there?

- Jobs I should look out for? Everyone knows - lawyer, investment banker, doctor. How much do those guys really make? And where do they hang out? Where do the hedge fund guys hang out?

- How you decide marriage vs. just a girlfriend? I am looking for MARRIAGE ONLY

Please hold your insults - I’m putting myself out there in an honest way. Most beautiful women are superficial; at least I’m being up front about it. I wouldn’t be searching for these kind of guys if I wasn’t able to match them - in looks, culture, sophistication, and keeping a nice home and hearth.

I read your posting with great interest and have thought meaningfully about your dilemma. I offer the following analysis of your predicament. Firstly, I’m not wasting your time, I qualify as a guy who fits your bill; that is I make more than $500K per year. That said here’s how I see it.

Your offer, from the prospective of a guy like me, is plain and simple a crappy business deal. Here’s why. Cutting through all the B.S., what you suggest is a simple trade: you bring your looks to the party and I bring my money. Fine, simple. But here’s the rub, your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity…in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won’t be getting any more beautiful!

So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset. Not only are you a depreciating asset, your depreciation accelerates! Let me explain, you’re 25 now and will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you!

So in Wall Street terms, we would call you a trading position, not a buy and hold…hence the rub…marriage. It doesn’t make good business sense to “buy you” (which is what you’re asking) so I’d rather lease. In case you think I’m being cruel, I would say the following. If my money were to go away, so would you, so when your beauty fades I need an out. It’s as simple as that. So a deal that makes sense is dating, not marriage.

Separately, I was taught early in my career about efficient markets. So, I wonder why a girl as “articulate, classy and spectacularly beautiful” as you has been unable to find your sugar daddy. I find it hard to believe that if you are as gorgeous as you say you are that the $500K hasn’t found you, if not only for a tryout.

By the way, you could always find a way to make your own money and then we wouldn’t need to have this difficult conversation.

With all that said, I must say you’re going about it the right way. Classic “pump and dump.” I hope this is helpful, and if you want to enter into some sort of lease, let me know.

I believe as human beings we are born selfish but as we get older we learn to give to others and a clearer example of what I am trying to state is in the movie Minority Report. There is scene in the movie where the old lady squeezes a live plant and eventually bites her and the old lady says something like, "when the pressure is on... the only thing any species cares is its own survival"

Inflation vs. Recession

Is the dollar falling???

Recent news about the Euro is stronger than the dollar should have Americans frightened. Our economy is headed in either two directions.... hyperinflation or recession.

It is in our best interest to have the economy rather go to a recession than an inflation, here is some effects if it were to go either way:

if it's a inflation= dollar would be less, consumer prices would go up
if it's inflation= people have to work harder and harder just to keep up with rising costs of living
if it's inflation= our middle class will shrink

if it's recession= dollar would be stronger and worth more, consumer prices would go down
if it's recession= real estate prices and other assets will remain at a depreciating pace
if it's a recession= receive higher yields for your MONEY!

I'd pick a recession any day over hyperinflation, inflation would not make a bigger bubble but only damage our already vulnerable economy with weak housing (where most money/ our debt is), and a weak dollar.

I've recently read on Yahoo about McDonald's comeback. If you didn't know already, McDonald's were having a bad year, with sales dropping and the same ol' menu, it looked like my micky dees were disappearing. I and millions of fast-food eaters love McDonald's but have to admit that not until recently, they haven't been the place to eat.

Ever since America have become conscious of their eating habits (thanks to the media), McDonald's was everyone's "no-no list." But that has changed, McDonald's have added new things to their menu such as their new Asian Salads and Snack Wraps.

I personally have a fast metabolism so I am one of the lucky ones, but unlike me, most have metabolisms that gains them two pounds after one bite.

If you need an energy boost, try this:

3 oranges peeled, sectioned
1/4 cold water
1/3 sugar
Ice cubes
Blend all the ingredients

It's simple and it tastes good!

I've never seen a person so happy.

….That’s what I felt like I was doing when I was in the mortgage industry as a telemarketer. Don’t take it the wrong way, the environment I worked was great, my boss was a cool guy. I just felt like when I would “hustle” on the phones, there are times where I felt uneasy about what I was selling. Refinancing a home might be a complicated process to many but its simple. Let me break it down in simple steps (I am not going to go in detail but enough to show my point):

1 Appraisal on property to find LTV (loan to value), Check FICO score

2 Find a program to fit the “client’s” needs

(step two was the tricky part because most but not all loan officers/mortgagebrokers would lie about the product their selling and often ripping their client’s without them knowing until later on)

3 Get approved, sign necessary papers

4 Deal close, get your check

Now to expand on step 2, here are some ways that loan officers would rip their clients off

Charging too much points on the front (increasing debt and lowering the homeowner’s equity)

Charging excessive fees

Putting a person in a neg-am loan (where the client would pay very low payments but unknowingly lose equity on the back end)

Loan officer not disclosing how much money he makes in the back end of the loan (pretty much being greedy and not helping the client for closing costs)

These are just some things they do. The loan officers make the client feel this is what’s best for them which is true in short term but long term wise it has a damning effect (like crack). The reason for this post is to inform those uneducated homeowners about a refinance process works. If you are interested in refinancing your home please educate yourselves first (there is more information out there) before doing so.

Schools and their enemies: entrepreneurs

Many of you including myself attend a educational institution whether it be in a public high school or a prestigious college university. I wrote this article to my fellow entrepreneurs because I know how frustrating it can be attending an institution that brainwashes you into becoming an employee. Many of you are not aware of this because you're conditioned to work for money. Not that there is anything wrong being an employee but I'd rather work for myself or have others work for me.

Robert Kiyosaki came up with a diagram and it is something like this:

E- employee- work for money, work for someone else

S- self employed- work for yourself

B- business owner- people work for you

I- investor- money works for you

I have personally started a couple of ventures before (craigslist/ ebay business, selling candy to people in school, pre-paid legal, and a bunch of other things). I made money but not necessarily enough where the cashflow was coming in and the business was sustainable (and enjoyable).

Don't get me wrong about being an employee for a while because one does have to raise cash (hardest thing to do for an entrepreneur) and start from somewhere and I made a choice on using my college degree to find a high paying job so I can raise capital and go on with some business ventures.

I am not afraid to take risks and try out new things. This blog is actually a business venture itself and also I am working on another business/investment venture that will earn me 10-20% return for my money. I am not going to say how I will be doing that until a couple months... I am setting it up than I will be glad to share it with all of you once it is up and running.

I was becoming Hilary Clinton's big supporter until I did some further research on her campaign and found out her opinions on the mortgage/foreclosure crisis. As you know, America is having a mortgage/foreclosure crisis with all the foreclosure mess, people are losing their homes left and right and it's not getting better.

Anyways, Hilary Clinton has proclaimed that the U.S. can solve the problem (or at least alleviate it) by bailing out the homeowners. Two words: F*ck that!. Why I say that? Simple: the money that will be used to bailout those homeowners are coming from taxpayers... so that means YOU!

Don't get me wrong I love helping out people but this mess that greedy investors, uneducated homeowners, predatory lenders, and everyone else who created a huge bubble should not be given a pat on the back for their stupidity. People need to know that the government's money is coming out of OUR POCKETS! (The US government is the biggest business owner, just like how Interscope owns: Eminem, 50 cent, Dr. Dre, etc.. the government owns everybody in the US (they take our money and piss it away on things the majority don't agree on))

I was enlightened last week when I read an interesting on Yahoo titled "Thirty- Five Minutes to Riches."

There was an advice that said to call your cable company and tell them that you are furious with the service and your thinking of switching to a different company. After saying that, ask for a discount if they want to keep you as their customer because you are not totally satisfied.

I did it! And the results were amazing. I actually got $15 off discount for the next 6 months for the same service. I know 15 buckaroos don't sound much but times that by 6 and you saved 90 big ones. Save 90 bucks for a 5 minute call. Nothing to lose and more to gain. TRY IT!

I used to think, dating wise, that I was the fishermen and women were the fish. How wrong I was! We, happy men, are the fish. And women dangle the bait of pussy in front of our faces waiting for us to bite. When we bite, we get snagged on the hook. Relationships literally become a tug of war with women trying to reel the guy in and the guy, if he has spirit, fighting to stay in the ocean. Should the guy have no money or potential, he is "too small" and he gets thrown back. (Interestingly, women dislike most short men as fishermen dislike small fish.) Also, fishermen dislike using nets since that takes the 'sport' out of fishing (the fish can't fight back). Interesting that women tend to take pleasure in the 'sport' as well and hate it when the 'fish' jumps from the water onto the frying pan of marriage. She must prove she is a woman (a fisherman) by having some sort of way to prove her 'skills' (unless she is old and doesn't care anymore. Transparent prostitution would be to her like using a net.). When pulled out and caught (marriage), the fish is put to work given some more bait (sex) to get going. Should the woman tire of her fish, she divorces it which is putting the guy on the grill and getting as much meat (money) from him as possible. From her perspective, there are always more fish in the sea.

And what of the fish's perspective? In their natural state (single), they see themselves swimming around in an underworld. The bait and woman they could see as 'going towards the light', heading towards a new world itself! And once "married", the fish wants to go back to the big sea but he cannot.

Women, speaking to other girls of a new guy they met, refer to the event as, "Look at the BIG ONE I caught!" If a woman fishes too long, her bait becomes soggy and loose (ewwww). And, like a fisherman, women know how to jiggle the bait and make it "dance" to attract attention.

It is good to think of the juicy bait. But remember the hook hidden inside.

One fun thing to do is to swim to the woman but ignore the bait. The woman becomes confused! Eventually, she’ll move on to another fish and may do the ‘Let’s just be friends’ line. As Anti-Dump said, women will work with you if they like you. She knows that if you do not swallow her bait, she cannot get her hooks in you. While women are attracted to sexualized men and want them to be sexual towards them, always remember that on their back the meter is running. The hooks, remember the hooks. Prostitution is stupid for women since they can get more money by marrying. As Sheen said, “You pay the prostitute to leave, not to come.” Sheen knows that it is hook-less sex.

Remember the fish-hook metaphor when a woman says, “Hey, you want to hook up?”

Something to know about myself is that I am a business major who loves capitalism! I will continually talk about everything related to finance/business/money. Recently, I came across Robert Kiyosaki's (Rich Dad Poor Dad author) article and I laughed at first but realized he is right.

He discusses that with the recession coming in our economy it is the best time to take advantage and get rich. I know there are many of you who distrust many financial institutions because they just wanna take your money (any your probably right 9 times out of 10) but there things (for those not as risk-adverse) to consider to invest your money in. I've been doing my research here and there and found some good deals for savings accounts. E*trade is offering a 5.05% APY savings account. WOWeeWOW. I just opened a WAMU savings account for 5.0% but WAMU has just recently pis**d me off. They freakin' charge me an excess fee (for transferring my money too many times to different accounts) WTF? I researched E*trade's product and it doesn't charge for transferring money to different accounts. It's a winner!
